SV Werder Bremen does not just offer their fans attractive football but also attractive surrounding conditions for their partners and sponsors. Playing a major role in that are the always sold out games at Weser Stadium, the 40,000 club members and ever-improving image values. The Green-Whites placed very high in the image value rankings according to the "Fußball Monitor 2009-10" study carried out by Sport+Markt AG. Combined with the "Fußballstudie 2009" study of the sports rights marketers Sportfive, that makes Werder Bremen the most well liked football club in the Bundesliga.

When asked how much they like Werder Bremen, 80 percent of the surveyed football fans between 14 and 69 years answered either "very likeable" or "likeable". In August 2009, Werder led all Bundesliga clubs and have even increased their value (73 percent back then).

Werder Bremen is a well-known brand name nationwide sportswise with national and international top companies such as Targobank, Nike, Volkswagen, EWE AG, InBev, Coca-Cola and Kraft Foods helping in sponsoring to improve their image even further and increasing their awareness. But strong regional partners such as EWE TEL, Vilsa, Pohl-Boskamp and Böklunder also use the sponsoring platform at Weser Stadium as football improves their customer relations and attracts new customers to their companies. Football connects people; is a people's sport; and is an identification - the ideal conditions for the industry to present via sponsoring their products or brand in an emotion-filled environment.
